SCHOOL PROGRAMS
The team at AC Fly Fishing has decades of combined experience and knowledge of fly fishing. We are passionate about the sport and are happy to share that knowledge with you. We offer “Introduction to Fly Fishing” schools for those brand new to the sport and looking to take on the challenge of learning to fly fish. We also offer a “Guide School” which is designed for seasoned anglers looking to learn the nuances and advanced techniques of fly fishing.
BEGINNER FLY FISHING SCHOOL
Beginner Fly Fishing Schools will be a two day school consisting of 8 hours each day. This is truly a hands on, feet in the water, fly fishing school with a 1:3 instructor to student ratio. The first day will be stream side instruction. Day 2 will take you from the truck and to the river where we will execute everything that was taught and learned from day 1.
GUIDE SCHOOL
As many of you know, it is very difficult to become a fly fishing guide in this competitive arena. It takes a lot of time and effort, along with some very good connections to break the barrier of entry to become a fly fishing guide. The team at ACFF has developed this Guide School to help expedite the process of turning your passion into a profession. You will be learning from a few of the top rated guides at ACFF that have many years of experience guiding in California, Montana, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. we know what it takes to become a successful fly fishing guide and our goal during this school is to help you in developing your skill sets to better prepare you for entering the job market.
