If it weren’t for Steelhead, I can say with confidence that I would not have made the decision to be a full time fly fishing guide in Northern California. Having the ability to fish for these ocean run rainbow trout in the winter months is something that sucked me in early on and has me obsessed still today. As guides and avid anglers, we are very fortunate to have the ability to pursue these fish on the Klamath and Trinity; Two of the most prolific steelhead fisheries in the Pacific Northwest. With strong returns again this year on both of these rivers, December is ripe to deliver more cold high fives and XL grins.
